My name is Ben Hotte. I am 11 years old. This is my second year in 4-H. I have a steer this year for the first time. His name is Drummond. He is a purebred Hereford born March 30th, 2019. He came from Spring Mountain Stock Farm, run by my Great Aunt & Uncle. Drummond is a very good 4-H calf. He has a good personality and I like spending time with him. He has grown well for me, and I look forward to finding out how much weight he has gained. He never kicks me when I am around him. Having a steer for the first time has been a good experience. I also like working on engines in the shop. I want to be a farmer when I grow up.
