Hello, my name is Miriam Hotte. I am nine years old and this is my first year in 4-H. I have a heifer for my first year. My 4-H calf’s name is Heidi. She was born in May 2022. She is tame and I can lead her quite well. I like working with my 4-H calf and I never get mad at her because you have to be patient and quiet for them to like you better. She is a red Angus cross. I like how the red is on her forehead and the white is on the rest of her face because it looks like bangs. I also like riding my bike, knitting, crocheting, and reading. In the spring sometimes I like to catch frogs in our slough. I live on a farm and I have three siblings.
