My name is Ben Hotte. I am 14 years old. This is my fifth year in 4-H. This is my fourth year with a steer. His name is Kliff. He is a purebred Hereford who came from Spring Mountain Stock Farm, run by my Great Aunt & Uncle. Kliff is a very good 4-H calf. He has a good personality and I like spending time with him. He is very easy-going and tame. He has grown well for me, and I look forward to finding out how much weight he has gained. Spending time with and taking care of Kliff has been fun. I like working on John Deere tractors and snowmobiles. I want to be a farmer when I grow up.
