Hi! My name is Clara Hotte and this is my 8th year in 4-H. I have a steer and a heifer this year. My steer’s name is Hector, and he is a Black Angus Simmental cross born April 30, 2022. I purchased him from Brandy DeSmet. I’ve enjoyed working with him, as well as clipping and fitting a black steer for the first time. My heifer’s name is Celia. She is a Angus Hereford cross born late May 2022, and I am looking forward to seeing how she does in the show ring. She has more spunk than any other heifer I’ve had, and I’m hoping with enough work that I can show her off well. I enjoy all things 4-H, riding horses, knitting & crocheting, and reading. I am looking forward to a career in agriculture.
