Hello! My name is Owen Yuha. I am ten years old and this is my second year in 4-H. I have a market steer project. My steer’s name is Spiky and he is a Red Angus/Simmental cross. I’m feeding him Keddies Finisher Ration which is mostly barley with rumensin, and free choice brome alfalfa hay. Spiky is growing well. I picked Spiky from my Dad’s herd because he was calm and quieter than the companion calf. I like 4-H because I like to go to club events. I love helping on the farm and especially when we cattle drive the cows to the community pasture. I also like to play hockey and ride my bike.
