Hi my name is Rose Earl and this is my 7th year in 4-H. I have completed 2 years of goat and 4 years of beef. This is my 5th year. I am 15 and in grade 10. My steer's name is Little Smizee and he is a Shorthorn Angus cross. I like that he has a wonderful brisket on him. I also love his coloring and how the black mixes with the white. In the second month that I had him, I could mostly get the halter on without the squeeze. He eats a ration of oats, barley, rumensin, peas and corn, some silage and free choice hay every day. This is one of the older pictures but he weighs 1000 pounds.
