Hi, my name is Tuff Brett. This is my second year with a steer project in the Savanna Multi Club. I am 10 years old and am in Grade 5. We have lots of animals in our farm and I love them all. This year my steer’s name is Donny. He is my favourite project so far. Donny is a Simmental cross steer that was born in January. At weigh in he weighed 810 lbs. Donny has been a great eater. He is currently eating 35lbs a day of finisher ration, 10lbs of silage and free choice hay. He loves his grain the most but is happy to eat his silage and hay too. Donny is a very kind and gentle steer and has been easy to work with.
